The Centre for Progressive Policy (CPP) is a think tank dedicated to making inclusive growth a reality. This means we care about tackling economic and social inequalities that persist in the UK – working with local and national government to find new, practical solutions to ‘levelling up’ opportunities for people and places across the country.
At CPP our research covers a range of topics under the banner of inclusive growth – including what this term means and how it is being developed internationally to ‘build back better’ – both from the last recession and as we look to recover from the impact of Covid-19. Specific topics include skills and productivity, population health, devolution and institutional reform, and the role of business and creation of quality jobs.
Our research is developed via close engagement with local and national stakeholders, including our Inclusive Growth Network (IGN) – comprising 12 member places across the UK each committed to devising, testing and sharing practical ways to drive an inclusive economic recovery and shared prosperity.
If you’re excited to join a small team dedicated to making a difference and have a flair for using data creatively to solve real-world policy problems, then please send a CV and covering letter addressed to Ben Franklin, Head of Research: firstname.lastname@example.org (with the subject line Researcher).
