Parliamentary event: how should our pensions investments support sustainability and levelling up?

19 July 2022
5:30–7:00pm
House of Commons, London

In conjunction with the APPG on inclusive growth, CPP will be hosting a discussion in Parliament on 19 July to discuss ground-breaking new research on the public’s ambitions for their most important asset: their pension.

We’ll be joined by Liam Byrne MP and John Penrose MP (Co-Chairs of the APPG for Inclusive Growth) and CEO of Nest Pensions Helen Dean to explore how pension investments interact with the sustainability and levelling up agendas.

Presenting new consumer research, CPP’s Ben Franklin and Norma Cohen take us through the real priorities people have for their savings - and what it means for investment, public policy and regulation around pensions for the autoenrolled.

The APPG will also use the event to set out a series of roundtables for September to launch its new Commission on the Purpose of Finance.

This event is invitation only. If you would like more information, please contact our Events Programme Manager Sara O’Donnell: s.odonnell@progressive-policy.net.
